Your one example leaves much to be desired - it could be that whtaever you were fighting was particularly good against your comp. Maybe your composition is backwards, isn't the excavator the thing you should a lot more of since it fulfills a similar role to say, vanguard laser tank?Īlso, if you rely on stagger, you might want to use voidtech as their instability debuff, when stacked high enough, reduces stagger resist, taking immune units down to a level where you can stagger them. Specialist units are particularly bad in auto battle compared to if you control them yourself. With Vanguard, Syndicate, Kir'ko, Assembly - I decimate (I haven't played Amazon yet) with tier I & 2 units with mods let alone the tier 3 units - like the Wraith Tank which simply wipes the board currently against the AI.īarons are specialist units, I don't know why people expect to mass them and expect to win against core/skirmisher/tank units. (I play the battles but put it on auto to equalize w/AI). I could have attacked that with a stack of 6 Vanguard Airjets (or whatever their called) let alone a stack of their tanks and probably wouldn't have lost 1. I just attacked a previously attacked Empire site (one of the +60) and it had 4 units left in it I attacked with 3 modded Aegis Tanks, 2 Modded Barons and one Excavator Tank - they destroyed me and lost 2 units. all of whom have Tier I & 2 units who can do range attacks (compared to 'ram' - which is crap across all the units) and area of effect attacks. Their cooldowns are garbage for minimal damage attacks - even modded.Ĭompared to the Vanguard, the Syndicate, the Kir'ko. Most units by mid game have Stagger Immunity with mods - which negates supposedly one of their benefits. Their early units are ok, but the Baron and Excavator are garbage. I play SP on Hard/Impossible on Enormous Maps with a minimum of 6 other AI.
